Custom Unimog Bull Catcher for Bullo River

Built for Practical Livestock Work

Built for Bullo River Pty Ltd, this Unimog was set up with a practical, heavy-duty bull catcher designed around livestock handling and demanding rural work.

The Uralla Metal team manufactured and fitted the custom setup to make the most of the Unimog’s rugged platform, while keeping the finished vehicle functional, strong and practical for the job at hand.

A Purpose-Built Bull Catcher Setup

The completed build combines a custom tray and livestock handling body with a range of features designed to make loading and handling stock more practical.

The setup includes:

• Heavy-duty steel framework
• Aluminium side panelling
• Custom livestock gates and access points
• Large rear loading ramp
• Tray-mounted winch to assist with ramp operation
• Internal livestock handling sections
• Custom flat tray underneath the livestock body

The wide rear ramp, tray-mounted winch and gate arrangement work together to create a practical setup for loading, moving and handling livestock.

Designed Around the Unimog

The Mercedes-Benz Unimog provides a rugged platform for this type of custom work, and the body has been designed to suit the vehicle rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all solution.

From the tray and framework through to the ramp, gates and winch setup, each element has been integrated to create a clean, practical and purpose-built result.
