Gooseneck Trailer Running Gear Upgrade

Uralla Metal recently completed a running gear upgrade on a gooseneck trailer for Dr Ed’s Equine Veterinary Services in Tamworth.
The work increased the trailer’s ATM from 4,500 kg to 9,000 kg, providing a higher-rated setup for the intended workload and helping avoid overloading the trailer.
Trailer upgrade for equine veterinary work
Trailers used in equine veterinary services need to be practical, dependable and suited to the work they carry out. Upgrading the running gear can be an important part of improving a trailer’s capacity and day-to-day functionality.
For this project, Uralla Metal modified the gooseneck trailer to increase its ATM from 4,500 kg to 9,000 kg. The exact design and suitability of any trailer upgrade depends on the trailer, vehicle, intended load and required configuration, so these details need to be assessed for each project.
